My name is Brad Tennyson, also known as Dough.Jo
I began my journey as a flow artist in 2019, working exclusively with pizza dough. I started by making videos and performing at shows and festivals using practice pizza dough. At the time, what I was doing was truly unique, which caught the attention of a New Jersey-based brand. They offered me their innovative version of fake pizza dough to use in my performances. Eventually, Flowstar came along and helped spread this art form across the United States, and I became an ambassador for their brand.
In 2020 and 2021, during the COVID-19 shutdown, I decided to explore the production side of shows and events after spending years as an attendee. A close friend and I began hosting livestreams where we DJed and performed flow art for a small group of friends. As restrictions eased, we transitioned to organizing small local shows at one of our favorite venues. We later teamed up with someone who wanted to launch a sound system collective, which allowed us to produce larger events.
During this time, I noticed a gap in the visual and lighting side of event production, which sparked my journey into VJing. With a few years of experience now as a DJ, VJ, and flow artist, I’m focused on the next phase of my artistry: combining all three elements into a single, cohesive performance.
